Paul Mergard is a passionate photographer and traveller. Based in Newcastle, Australia, Paul has been travelling and capturing the hope and life in children for over 10 years.

In 2006 he became aware of the issue of Human Traffiking and has been campaigning and raising awareness about Traffiking ever since. Paul has visited a number of traffiking hot spots in India and Bangladesh and met women who were sold into sexual slavery face to face.

He now works for Compassion Australia as the National Director of the Child Advocate Network and previously worked for The Salvation Army as the Mission Team Leader.

He published ‘Looking for Hope’ that it would raise funds and awareness for the fight against Human Traffiking.

Paul loves photographing kids in their natural environment and is available for freelance photography.
